The Artists’ Coop of Mendocino Gallery, June Show is “Wildlife Images in a Dry Country” from June 1 – July 6, 2010.
Second Saturday Artists’ Reception is on June 12 from 3:30 – Sunset.
The Artists’ Co-op of Mendocino will feature the photography of Jim Moorehead from June 1 to July 6. The show, “Wildlife Images in a Dry Country”, presents dramatic scenes in Tanzania, East Africa, during a severe drought. Join us on safari, through his visuals, to experience the heat, dust, desperate search for water, and adaptive behaviors, that affected the animals Jim captured with his camera. Sites visited include Serengeti Plain, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, and the slopes of Kilimanjaro. Refreshments at the Second Saturday opening will relieve the parched feeling that might develop while engaged in the show.
