Spring Wildflower Display and Walks

Beginning in April, the Ford House Visitor Center will host a fresh wildflower display created by the CA Native Plant Society. Local artist and botanical illustrator, Constance Goddard, provided renderings of local species for the exhibit. Contact the Visitors CenterĀ  at 707-937-5397 for hours and details.

Mendocino Coast Botanical Garden Rhododendron Walks

Spring is in the air and the rhododendrons are beginning their spring bloom. The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens offers an explosion of color with over 1,000 plants scattered along the walk. You can join the weekly walk lead by one of the Garden’s experts, or stroll at your own pace. Among the early bloomers, you can see Camellia and Magnolia.
