July 4th Celebrations on the Coast

July 1: World’s Largest Salmon BBQ
Since 1970 the Salmon Restoration Association has hosted this fund-raiser with the help of local “celebrity” volunteers cooking up a storm. Live music, the aroma of grilled salmon, family and friends…life is good at the barbeque. Fort Bragg in the historic Noyo Harbor. From highway 1 north or south, look for the “BBQ Parking” signs. 11 am – 6 pm

July 2: Point Arena  Fireworks, Parade
Celebrating filled with fun – parade, street dancing, fireworks, and street fair.

July 4: Kelley House Museum Lawn Party & BBQ
Enjoy free music and feast on hot dogs, sausages, beer, wine and ice cream, while watching the Mendocino parade. 11 am – 3 pm 707-937-5791

July 4: Mendocino Parade
Capture that old-time feeling at the Mendocino 4th of July parade, with fire trucks, floats, horses, and maybe even a trained duck (that’s right!). Noon 707-961-6300.

July 4: Fort Bragg Fireworks
The Fort Bragg Independence Day Fireworks Display will be held at dusk. All roads on Todd Point will be closed at 5:00 pm, with limited access and parking restrictions. Great views (if not foggy) at Todd’s Point and Pomo Bluff Park.
