Caito Fisheries Inc.
John Baptist Caito immigrated to the United States from Sicily in 1885 to Pittsburg, CA where he and his family started the Western Fish Company. After the 1906 earthquake destroyed the production facility, Caito formed the California Western Fish Company. By the early 1920s the company had expanded to three locations, including Noyo Harbor in Fort Bragg. In 1975, the Caito Brothers (Joe, Jim & John) took over operation and are the fourth generation of the Caito family in the business.
